19th instalment of the PM Kisan Yojana on February 24, 2025, for eligible beneficiaries, while addressing an event in Bhagalpur, Bihar. To be eligible to receive the 19th instalment, farmers must complete e-KYC if they haven’t received Rs 2,000 in their bank accounts yet. All landholding farmer families with cultivable land in their name are eligible for the PM-Kisan scheme. Farmers are encouraged to complete their e-KYC at the earliest to avoid any discontinuity in receiving their financial aid.
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) project is a government initiative that aims to give direct financial support to landholding farmers. Eligible farmers will receive Rs 6,000 per year in three equal installments of Rs 2000, which are immediately credited in their Aadhaar-enabled bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Electronic Know Your Customer, or e-KYC, is now required for all PM-Kisan registered farmers to maintain transparency and guard against abuse. Through this procedure, beneficiaries' identities are confirmed, and money is sent to the appropriate people without the need for intermediaries.
The government has simplified the e-KYC process and introduced multiple methods for farmers to complete the process easily.
