SundayGrids to revolutionize the solar industry. Mathew Samuel, one of the co-founders, captures the essence of their mission: "More than a luxury choice that only those with independent houses and sprawling roofs can make, solar energy should be accessible for everyone, regardless of where we are and the kind of places we live in. With digital solar, that is the leap we hope to make." SundayGrids is on a mission to democratize solar energy with ‘Digital Solar’.
Unlike rooftop solar, Digital Solar doesn't supply power directly to your home, instead, you receive credits to offset your power bill. These credits are transferred online, enabling you to access solar from places with excellent sunshine regardless of where you are. Reserving Digital Solar is rather straightforward.
Users simply input their power bill and choose how much of it they would like to offset. Each panel generates energy which is converted into credits for every unit of power it generates, which can be used to pay their electricity bills. Users only need to pay the balance, if any, after utilizing these credits.
Moreover, users have the convenience of monitoring and tracking their solar panels' performance through a user-friendly dashboard. This empowers commercial buildings and residential areas to tap into clean energy without incurring setup costs and, importantly, reduce their power bills. "We are excited for the platform to revolutionise the way people approach going solar" said Mathew.
