Odey Wealth was set up in Guernsey in 2008, opening its London office in 2010, to provide investment advice to clients.
The firm will shut down operations in both the UK and Guernsey, where it was registered.

A spokesperson for the FCA said: «We are aware of Odey Wealth Management's intention to wind down the business. We will work closely with the firm as it winds down, to ensure clients are treated fairly.»
Odey Asset Management declined to comment.
