One Piece Chapter 1114 release date: Is manga heading for long break?
One Piece Manga will be taking a break after the release of its Chapter 1114. This has been reported by Dexter. They had returned after a hiatus with the launch of Chapter 1112. It has been reported that the previous hiatus was after the death of Akira Toriyama. The break was the longest since June-July 2023. It was necessitated due to Eiichiro Oda who underwent an eye surgery and was out of action for almost four weeks. It was at this stage that the final saga had been entered into.
Delay in the release of Chapter 1114
Due to Golden week in Japan which is a period with multiple holidays beginning from April 29 to May 5 in the year 2024, the release of Chapter 1114 has been considerably delayed. The last chapter ended with a message from Vegapunk with the fight on Egghead still on as the crew plans their escape to Elbaf.

Though Chapter 1114 is yet to release, the news of yet another Hiatus has been brought to attention on a Twitter/X post by Artur one piece theorist. He wrote that due to an upcoming Oda break, readers will have to wait for at least another three weeks after the release of Chapter 1114 for the next chapter. He also shared the following schedule on the same post:
April 28-1113 official May 3- Super Early 1114 scan leak May 5- Golden Week Break May 12- 1114 official May 19-Oda Break May 24- 1115 scans May 26- 1115 official
So officially, readers will have to wait till May 26 to proceed to the next chapter and May 12 is when Chapter 1114 will
