Alexei Navalny, the Russian President Vladimir Putin's high-profile critic allegedly has passed away in a prison surrounded by the most security. An Oscar-winning documentary film has been made about him.
47-year-old Navalny who had spent his days in prison since the year 2021, has died in "Polar Wolf", a faraway prison whose location is around 40 miles to the Arctic Circle's North, as reported by the state media in the country on Friday. No official death cause was revealed as of now as reported by USA Today.

According to the officials, he was not well after he went for a walk and almost lost consciousness on an immediate basis. Efforts to bring him back have not given any results. Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin spokesperson has stated that he had no prior information about the death of Navalny.
Since January 2021, Navalny has been in prison, at the time of returning to Russia post having spent around five months in Germany, and going through a recovery phase from a case of poisoning that he has blamed on the Kremlin.
Then Yulia, the wife of Navalny struggled to get Navalny out of the Russian hospital. Angela Merkel, the German chancellor has sent an ambulance plane for retrieving him with him recovering in Berlin. In the midst of the recovery, the poisoning has been investigated by him and a team member who made efforts to kill him for admitting it at the time of the phone call.
