An LGBTQI+ march in Oslo scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled after late-night shootings hit the Norwegian capital. Police requested event organisers to call off the event, following the targetting of two bars, including one gay club, Friday evening.
After "clear advice and recommendations from the police", "all events related to Oslo Pride are cancelled," the organisers wrote in a Facebook post, imploring "anyone who had planned to participate in or watch the parade, not to show up."Norwegian police said they were treating last night's shootings, which took place in front of two bars in the centre of Oslo, as "a terrorist act".Two people were left dead and at least 21 more have been injured, including 10 seriously."The police are investigating the facts as an act of terrorism," the police said in a statement.Read more on euronews.com
