Aman Gupta is on a high. The CEO and co-founder of BoAT, was one of the entrepreneurs invited as an official delegation during PM Modi’s recent visit to France. Taking to Twitter, Gupta wrote how once, only veteran businessmen and third or fourth-generation entrepreneurs were invited as the official delegation during state visits, but now “new age entrepreneurs” are also being considered.
“This is a significant moment for us, as it reflects the recognition and support given to the entrepreneurial spirit in India,” he wrote. He also went on to reveal, that during the Prime Minister’s visit to France, he had an opportunity to talk about Indian startups, as well as Make In India projects at the Indo-French CEO forum. He also spoke about getting to watch the grand Bastille Day Parade and witnessing the Indian Contingent play the patriotic anthem ‘Sare Jahaan Se Achcha’ at the event.
“My heart swelled with happiness and pride in that moment,” he wrote. He concluded his post on a positive note, saying that all this heralds a bright future for India. “These experiences reinforce my belief that we are entering an era where India stands strong alongside the world.
