This year's Winter Wonderland introduces a holiday-themed event pass. Players can earn tickets by playing the game, which can be used at the Winter Fair to unlock one of three skins. For more cosmetics, there's a Premium track upgrade for 500 OW Coins, offering three additional skins and other items. Unspent tickets by January 15 will be converted into Overwatch Credits.

The classic Yeti Hunt mode returns, featuring five hunters as Mei trying to capture Winston, with no significant changes. Mei's Snowball Offensive pits teams of Meis against each other, shooting icicles and snowballs to avoid elimination. Freeze-Flash Elimination, introduced in 2022, is back – a 5v5 freeze tag where the first team to freeze the opponents for three rounds wins.

With Winter Wonderland's return, exclusive winter-themed skins are back. Players can acquire these skins through the Winter Fair Event by collecting enough tickets or by opting for the Premium Pass for additional cosmetics.
