Paddington in Peru, the latest installment of the Paddington film series. The movie’s trailer dropped following the UK release over the summer.
The story follows Paddington, who discovers that his Aunt Lucy has vanished from her retirement home in Peru. Determined to find her, Paddington teams up with the Brown family and sets off on a quest through the Peruvian rainforest. A map, marked with clues, leads them through the jungle as they search for Aunt Lucy and uncover clues to one of the world’s legendary treasures.

Directed by Dougal Wilson, the film features Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Imelda Staunton, Carla Tous, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas and Ben Whishaw as the voice of Paddington. The screenplay was crafted by Mark Burton, Jon Foster and James Lamont, with story credits going to Paul King, Simon Farnaby and Mark Burton. Michael Bond created the original character of Paddington Bear.
Rosie Alison produced Paddington in Peru, with executive producers including Anna Marsh, Ron Halpern and others. Sony Pictures acquired rights to the film for the U.S., Canada, and other key markets during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. Paddington in Peru is set to hit theaters on January 17.
