The film explores the personal dynamics of the couple while also highlighting the socioeconomic tensions in Sri Lanka, providing a thought-provoking narrative that resonates with contemporary issues.
Presented by the renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam under the Madras Talkies banner, 'Paradise' has garnered significant attention and accolades. The film has won multiple awards at international film festivals, including the prestigious Kim Ji Seok Award for Best Film at the Busan International Film Festival and the Popular Film Award at the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Film Festival in Spain.
