Pawan Kalyan is reportedly going on a fast for 11 days. The Telugu superstar-turned-politician is performing Varahi Deeksha in honour of Goddess Varahi Ammavari and will be on a fast, both due to religious obligations and for the prosperity, welfare, and well-being of the Telugu community.
The 'Vakeel Saab' star had also worshipped the deity in June last year.
The Varahi Deeksha commenced on Wednesday and will last for 11 days.
Ammavari Deeksha is undertaken at the end of Jyestha month or during the month of Ashadha. The initiation lasts for nine or eleven days. During this period, the individual must abstain from regular food and consume only 'satvik food'.
