Karnataka government and the opposition BJP are locked in a war of words on allegations of poaching. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has asked party MLAs to not give any statements or he will serve notice to them.
Speaking on the poaching issue dubbed 'Operation Kamala', BJP leader Aswath Narayan said «There is no need for us to do the operation, the operation is going on inside them, there is a fight going on in his party for the post of CM.»
Reacting to it, DK Shivakumar said that there are people who are trying to poach but no conspiracy will be succeeded.
«We know there is a big conspiracy happening, but nothing will be succeeded. We know everything.
There are big personalities trying to poach (MLAs), but nothing is going to happen. On party issue, internal issue or position issue, no MLA or leaders should give any statements, if at all any statement given, then I'll serve notice to them,» DK Shivakumar said.
The BJP and the Congress have also clashed on the issue of merging Ramnagara with Bengaluru district. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar on Wednesday asserted that he will ensure the merging of Ramanagara with Bengaluru district.
«We are from Bengaluru.
Unnecessarily, they pushed us to Ramanagara district. Don't listen to others. We belong to Bengaluru, not Ramanagara.
Not even Bengaluru rural- Bengaluru. I will do it,» he had said.
Questioning the Deputy CM, BJP's Aswath Narayan alleged that the Congress just wanted Robert Vadra to benefit from the move.
«The state government is a complete failure, DK Shivakumar is making statements that he will add Ramanagara to Bangalore South to cover up the setback of the state government.
