In a 75-minute online interaction with BJP booth committee workers under the «Mera booth sabse mazboot» programme, the prime minister asserted that massive strength of the grassroots party workers will ensure the defeat of AAP in these polls.
«AAP-da people are saying they are coming back and the people of Delhi are saying if they do they will engage in corruption again,» Modi said.
The prime minister alleged that «money flowed like water» in renovating Sheeshmahal while the people of Delhi were deprived of drinking water. He charged that liquor is more readily available in Delhi than water.
Recalling BJP's win in all seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi in 2024 general elections, Modi said this was due to the hard work of booth level workers who ensured victories in thousands of booths. He said the same will be repeated in the Assembly polls. Many booth level workers of BJP are third-fourth generation workers of the party, he added.
