Pokemon Go fans can look forward to the Dia de Muertos event, featuring special costumed Pokemon and bonuses. The event starts on November 1, 2023, at 10 AM and ends on November 2, 2023, at 8 PM local time, lasting just two days.
During the event, trainers will encounter new costumed Pokemon: Cubone and Marowak wearing cempasúchil crowns, alongside Duskull with the same attire from the previous year.
The event will bring forth various Pokemon in the wild, including Sunkern, Sableye, Roselia, Duskull with a cempasúchil crown, Drifloon, Litwick, Cubone with the cempasúchil crown, Yamask, and Phantump.
Using Incense and Lure Modules will attract Sunkern, Sunflora, Houndour, Sableye, Roselia, Duskull with a cempasúchil crown, Drifloon, Cubone with the cempasúchil crown, and Flabébé (Orange flower).
Completing Field Research tasks during the event can lead to encounters with Sunkern, Drifloon, Litwick, Cubone wearing a cempasúchil crown, and Alolan Marowak.
Raid eggs will hatch into various Pokemon, with Cubone wearing a cempasúchil crown in One-Star Raids, Azumarill, Umbreon, Hariyama, and Bombirdier in Three-Star Raids, Darkrai in Five-Star Raids, and Mega Banette in Mega Raids.
Additionally, the event offers bonuses, such as Lure Modules lasting for 90 minutes, a 2x Catch Candy boost, and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) also lasting for 90 minutes. Trainers in Latin America and the Caribbean will receive extra Candy for transferring Pokemon.
