The biggest reveal was Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the latest entry in the Pokémon Legends series. The game is set in a futuristic Lumiose City, located in the Kalos region. Players will start their journey from an old hotel, exploring wild zones where humans and Pokémon coexist.
One of the most exciting features is the return of Mega Evolutions, which was last seen in the Pokémon X and Y games. The game will introduce a mix of classic and new Pokémon, with Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile confirmed as starter choices. Pokémon Legends: Z-A is set to release in late 2025 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

Another major announcement was Pokémon Champions, a brand-new multiplayer battle game focused entirely on Pokémon battles. Players can import Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and Pokémon Home, making it a hub for competitive battles. However, not all Pokémon will be available, and any obtained in Pokémon Champions cannot be transferred back to other games.
The game is designed to create a balanced and competitive environment for players worldwide. It will launch on Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms later in 2025.
