Joe Biden lashed out at reporters and special counsel Robert Hur on Thursday night. In an extremely critical report, Hur observed that the 81-year-old head of state appeared diminished mentally, forgetting the dates of key events in his life. He also said in his report that the handling of classified documents renewed scrutiny of his fitness for office ahead of the Presidential Election in 2024.
According to the 'New York Post', Joe Biden rejected the allegation during a hastily scheduled appearance in the White House Diplomatic Reception Room. Reacting angrily to the report, the commander-in-chief said he had seen the headlines since the report was released about his willful retention of documents. He said further these assertions were not only misleading but just plain wrong.

The president also said he knows there is some attention paid to the language in the report about his recollection of events. He added there is also some reference that he does not remember when his son died.
