Prince of Persia" was released in around 14 years along with its first title since the time of its revelation in 1989, in which the characters will be speaking Farsi.
On Thursday, "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown" was released by Ubisoft for Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and PlayStation. This most recent version is the first in the series that has been developed by Ubisoft Montpellier which is Ubisoft's subsidiary, as per BBC.
Mounir Radi, the designer of the game has informed the outlet that the developers were looking forward to portraying and paying respect to Iran and Persia in the game mechanics.
Radi has also informed BBC that it felt natural for them to say that if they are embarking into that culture, they need to be doing this. BBC was also told by the developers of the game that it has many updates to make it appear enticing to modern gamers, which include enhanced graphics gathering much inspiration from «Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse», the hit animated movie.
The new version's updates include a rising effort for adding elements such as history, and language making the game more genuine to the area it portrays, as told by Abdelhak Elguess, producer to BBC.
In one instance, it was told by Elguess that the developers entwined aspects of Zoroastrianism, a religion with its foundation in Iran, within the game, as reported by BBC.
Elguess said that they have several people belonging to Persian cultures who are happy.
On Reddit, a user has said that they were pleased that Ubisoft has included a dub option in Farsi, but were astonished as the organization did not include a Greek option in «Assassins Creed: Odyssey»
