The much-anticipated sequel to the 2021 blockbuster 'Pushpa: The Rise', has garnered an impressive Rs 8 crore from paid previews held at select venues across India. Early screenings for the press and premiere audiences have given the film a thumbs-up, sparking curiosity about its broader reception among viewers.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 has achieved extraordinary pre-sales milestones. The Allu Arjun-led film has sold approximately 4 lakh tickets in the top three multiplex chains in the Hindi-speaking regions—PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. Of these, PVR accounted for 3,25,000 admissions, while Cinepolis added 75,000 to the tally.
Globally, the film has shattered records with an unparalleled Rs 125 crore in pre-sales for its opening day, including paid previews. Within India, advance bookings alone contributed a staggering Rs 85 crore. Predictions suggest that the total pre-sales for the opening weekend will surpass this already remarkable figure.
