Uttarakhand chief secretary Radha Raturi expressed her strong displeasure over the failure of Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Chamoli, and Champawat districts for not organizing even a single district-level NCORD (Narco Co-ordination Centre) meeting this year. Reprimanding the district magistrates of the districts concerned, she directed the Home Secretary to send a letter immediately in this regard.

She also warned of adverse entry into the ACR of the officers concerned in case of such negligence in future. Chief secretary Raturi has asked all the District Magistrates to ensure compulsory meetings of the district-level NCORD once in a month. For strict monitoring of misuse of medicines as drugs at medical stores, she has directed the Director General of Health (DG, Health) to ensure installation of CCTVs at all medical stores and digitize the records.
