Pushpa 2: The Rule has shattered records, surpassing SS Rajamouli's RRR (which earned Rs 156 crore on its opening day) and becoming the first Indian film to net over Rs 50 crore in two languages (Telugu and Hindi) in a single day. The Hindi version has been a standout, amassing an estimated Rs 65-67 crore net on its debut, making it the highest opener in the Hindi belt and overtaking Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.
According toSacnilk.com, the film achieved an impressive 80.14% Telugu occupancy and 51.53% Hindi occupancy on its release day, December 5, 2024. Analysts predict a minimal dip in collections on Friday, estimating Rs 120-140 crore, but strong spot bookings, particularly in mass centers, could lead to another Rs 50 crore-plus day for the Hindi version alone.
