Quest Global is looking to grow its presence in India, and is hiring across its different verticals — aerospace and defence, semiconductor energy, medtech, and high tech. “Last year, we grew our headcount by about 15%, whereas our competitors grew by about 8-10%, and we expect this growth to continue,” Colleen Doherty, chief people officer, told ET. The engineering solutions company has about 17,500 employees globally, out of which about 10,000 are based in India, Doherty said.
About 5,500-odd employees are based in Bengaluru, 3,200 or so in Kerala, and the remaining distributed among other cities. The company has recently set up a new office in Kochi. The firm remains bullish on its growth targets.
It is looking to launch a global women's initiative to attract and retain more women at the company. It is also looking to offer flexible schedules when possible for women employees to be able to maintain their careers while also keeping up with responsibilities at home. “We’re looking to bring together women at different levels in their careers, and then offer them different learning opportunities in terms of how to network, as well as providing them mentorship and sponsorship,” Doherty said.
