The funds added are the M&G European Strategic Value, which was added to the Cirilium Active and Blend portfolios, and the ClearBridge Global Infrastructure Income, which was added to Cirilium Blend.
The Blend portfolio is managed by Ian Jensen-Humphreys, Sacha Chorley and CJ Cowan and typically only holds one growth and one vale fund per region, Quilter Investor explained. However, following the disposal of a European value ETF in Cirilium Blend, the managers said the M&G strategy helped balance the portfolio's existing European growth-oriented holdings.
The M&G fund aims to provide exposure to underappreciated European companies, taking a long-term view and waiting for the turnaround in investor attention and sentiment, the company explained.
The ClearBridge strategy, on the other hand, invests in global listed infrastructure companies, with a focus on reliable income and capital growth at the same time.
