Rahul Gandhi over his comment on Hindutva, Union Minister and former Army Chief VK Singh said that «Rahul is one of those people who have no understanding of religion.»
Responding to comments made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi about Hindutva, Singh remarked, «What can be said about a person who wears pants and shirts in India and kurta-pyjama when he travels abroad? Before embarking on the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage, he put on the sacred thread, visited the temple, rang the bell, and ate meat. Nothing can be said for him in these circumstances.
He is one of those people who have no understanding of religion.»
Singh also criticized Priyanka Gandhi, the general secretary of the Congress, calling her «childish» for her criticism of Prime Minister Modi in Rajasthan, where she accused him of favoring the wealthy.
Former Army Chief VK Singh also stated that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) will eventually merge with India. He made this statement while addressing a question about a recent demonstration by Shia Muslims in POK, where they called for the opening of the Kargil border crossing with India.
Singh shared his views during a press conference held on the sidelines of the ongoing Parivartan Sankalp Yatra (PSY) in Dausa on Sunday.
Taking a swipe at Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Singh accused Gehlot of turning Rajasthan into the worst place for women in the country. Singh expressed his concern over the high number of cases of atrocities against women in Rajasthan over the past four and a half years, including incidents of women being stripped naked, paraded, and raped, which he found shameful.
Singh also highlighted the success of the recently concluded G20 Summit, which was held under India's presidency.
