Rajinikanth couldn't resist a ride in his friend Lulu Group's MD Yusuff Ali's Rolls Royce!
Rajinikanth was having the time of his life, riding a grand Rolls Royce in the UAE. As pictures and videos of the ‘Enthiran’ star’s joyride became viral on the Internet, it was revealed that the car belonged to his friend MA Yusuff Ali, the chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, a renowned retail company.
In the picture, the ‘Jailer’ star is seen in an indigo blue shirt, sharing a laugh with the business tycoon. Rajinikanth recently wrapped up shooting for TJ Gnanavel directorial ‘Vettaiyan’.
The veteran entrepreneur is reported to have played a key role in boosting trade ties between India and the Arab world.
The superstar also met Lulu Group’s COO Saifee Roopawala. Roopawala later shared some pictures of their meeting on his Instagram handle along with the caption, “Absolutely thrilled to have had the incredible opportunity to connect with the one and only Indian Superstar, Thalaivar.”
‘Vettaiyan’ also marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. The stellar cast of the action extravaganza also stars veteran actors such as Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil and ‘Baabubali’ actor Rana Daggubati. ‘Vettaiyan’ also marks Bachchan Sr and Rajinikanth’s on-screen reunion 33 years after the 1991 blockbuster ‘Hum’. The movie is scheduled to hit the big screens in October this year.
Aside from ‘Vettaiyan’, Rajinikanth will also headline Lokesh Kanagaraj’s movie ‘Coolie’. Anirudh Ravichander (composer of ‘Jawan’) is reportedly in charge of the soundtrack.
