Rajinikanth’s Coolie and Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 set for box office clash
War 2 and Rajinikanth’s Coolie.
The news of a potential showdown between the films came after the release date of Coolie was confirmed by the makers. Earlier, a three-way clash was reported between War 2, Coolie and Sunny Deol’s Partition drama Lahore: 1947. Now, the historical film will likely be released in June, making it a fight between Coolie and War 2.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj affirmed that Coolie would release on August 14. In a post on X, he shared the film’s release date and a poster of Rajinikanth. The film was tentatively named Thalaivar 171 before its title was revealed.

Coolie also stars Pooja Hegde, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj. Aamir Khan will reportedly have a role in the film as well. Coolie is said to be based around gold smuggling, The Rajinikanth starrer will not be connected to films in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Coolie will reunite Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj after 38 years. The duo were last seen together in the 1986 hit Mr. Bharath. Sathyaraj essayed the role of Rajinikanth's father in the film.
Recently, Hritik Roshan also confirmed that War 2 would release on August 14. A sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, the movie will follow Major Kabir Dhaliwal as he tries to tackle a new enemy threatening the nation. War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji and also features Kiara Advani and Jr NTR.

We’ve already started this transition, and we plan to do more of it this fiscal.”Beyond mobile phones and laptops, EMS firms are expanding into smart metres for electricity boards, aerospace and defence subsystems, railway safety instrumentation, printed circuit boards and display assemblies, and medical devices deployed in hospitals.India’s annual mobile phone shipments have remained subdued since the covid-19 pandemic, with industry estimates pointing to a single-digit decline this calendar year from 152 million smartphones shipped last year.The margin pressure driving this shift is increasingly visible.In FY26, Syrma SGS reported an operating margin of 7.1%, up 2.3 percentage points.
