Adil Khan Durrani's accusations against Rakhi Sawant span sections 500 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, dealing with defamation and accomplice involvement in criminal intent, respectively.
Additionally, section 67A of the Information Technology Act is cited for publishing sexually explicit material electronically. The FIR alleges that Rakhi aired Adil's video on a television talk show and subsequently shared it via WhatsApp and other digital platforms.
Rakhi Sawant's legal team has argued that the video in question is five years old and of poor quality, making it difficult to discern any explicit content. Rakhi's health conditions, including the need for medical procedures, have been cited as reasons to avoid custodial interrogation.
Despite these arguments, the demand for her phone as
