Rapper Hanumankind to make his acting debut soon?
acting debut! Direction Anurag Kashyap recently unveiled the first-look poster of Sooraj Cherukat as Bheera in the forthcoming Malayalam film ‘Rifle Club’. Directed by Aashiq Abu, this movie marks Kashyap's debut in the Malayalam film industry.
The poster showcases Sooraj sporting sunglasses while aiming a gun at someone. Anurag introduced Sooraj as Bheera, who will portray his son in the film.
Earlier, Anurag announced the project with a video on Instagram, stating, «Excited to announce my first Malayalam film as an actor with @aashiqabu. Thrilled to be a part of this significant moment in Malayalam cinema. OPM Cinemas in collaboration with TRU Stories Entertainment. Produced by Aashiq Abu, co-produced by Vincent Vadakkan and Vishal Vincent Tony (sic).»
Kashyap has previously been involved in producing Malayalam films like Moothon and Paka (River of Blood). His acting credits include films such as Akira, Imaikkaa Nodigal, and AK vs AK. The script for Rifle Club has been penned by Sharfu-Suhas, Dileesh Karunakaran, and Syam Pushkaran.
