Prince William and Princess Kate are reportedly planning to host a “rival Christmas party” at Anmer Hall, their home on the Sandringham estate, according to The Daily Beast. Unlike the Royal Family's formal celebrations traditionally held at Sandringham House, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to embrace a casual atmosphere with Kate’s parents, Mike and Carole Middleton, joining them.
This year’s festivities come amid health concerns, as King Charles and Princess Kate both announced cancer diagnoses earlier in 2024.

Royal insiders reveal that other family members are waiting to confirm their holiday plans, as Charles’ health status could impact the season’s events. Traditionally, family members would have received invites and schedules by now, but this year remains uncertain.
Prince William is also set to lead the annual Boxing Day hunt, a role previously held by his father. Meanwhile, Kate and William are expected to share glimpses of their “middle class” holiday on social media, with plans for “movie marathons and eating chocolate” showing a laid-back side of royal life.
