US President Joe Biden for undermining US Vice President Kamala Harris's Presidential campaign after he dropped out of the US Presidential race in July, reported Huffpost. In a blog post on FiveThirtyEight, Nate Silver noted that Joe Biden assigned Kamala Harris pretty challenging tasks related to the US border and US voting rights while disrupting her campaign schedule which he eventually described as detrimental to her messaging.
According to Huffpost, Nate Silver also pointed out that even as Joe Biden's internal polling indicated he was losing significantly in the US Presidential Election, at the same time, the White House reportedly suggested to reporters that Kamala Harris was a far weaker candidate than Joe Biden.

Nate Silver expressed his sympathy for Kamala Harris but still labeled her a ‘mediocre’ candidate while arguing that she failed to effectively communicate her own message and did not sufficiently distance herself from Joe Biden's policies, asserted Huffpost. He also highlighted her left-leaning positions during her 2019 Presidential run as another significant drawback while suggesting that her attempts to shift toward the center in the current campaign lacked clarity and coherence.
In spite of acknowledging the challenges faced by Kamala Harris, Nate Silver emphasized on the fact that a stronger candidate could have made the race more competitive for the Democrats,
