Parshuram Kund Project have been prepared and instructions have been given to prepare a DPR accordingly, for further submission to the Government of India.
A review meeting was held at the Parshuram Kund, Lohit district by Mein to discuss about the planning and preparation for the upcoming Parshuram Kund Festival 2024. During the meeting, observations and feedback pertaining from the last Festival that took place earlier this year were reviewed.
Keeping these in mind, a strategic route plan addressing all these bottlenecks has been devised to ensure a hassle-free experience for the pilgrims attending the Parshuram Kund Festival in 2024.
As per the plan, designated parking space appropriated as per different category of vehicles, proper entry and exit pathways, temporary setup of food stalls and arrangement of free Prasadam served by the Parshuram Sewa Samity, Manav Utthan Sewa Samity and the BRO at parking, have been chalked out.
In the meeting, Mein instructed the executing agencies to expedite the construction and expedite completion of all pending works by March 2024. He also said that a master plan for the 150 Crore Parshuram Kund Project have been prepared and instructions have been given to prepare a DPR accordingly, for further submission to the Government of India.
Mein also informed that the 51 ft statue of Sage Parshuram will be unveiled in the month of January right after the PKF — 24.
He also assured to provide Grants-in-Aid for the Parshuram Kund. The statue is being donated by VIPRA Foundation.
Meanwhile, Founding Member of the VIPRA Foundation, Sushil Ojha, informed that the Piling works of the Foundation has been completed.
