Saif Ali Khan has been successfully discharged from Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital after undergoing tricep surgery for an old injury sustained during an action sequence for his latest film.
The 53-year-old actor, accompanied by his wife and fellow actor Kareena Kapoor, was spotted leaving the hospital in his car, waving at paparazzi stationed outside his house.
In an official statement on Monday, Saif Ali Khan expressed gratitude for the well-wishers, saying, «This injury and the surgery that followed are part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern.»
Saif, accompanied by his wife Kareena Kapoor, was captured by paparazzi leaving the hospital in his car. Waving at well-wishers, the actor's demeanour and acknowledgement assured fans of his positive trajectory towards recovery.
