Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's latest theatrical offering, 'Tiger 3', now in its 13th day since a grand Diwali release, continues its journey at the box-office, albeit with a noticeable dip in collections.
The film, which started with a robust opening of Rs 44.5 crore in India, reached its pinnacle on the second day with a whopping Rs 59.25 crore. However, the subsequent days have witnessed a gradual decline in earnings.
On Day 13, 'Tiger 3' struggled to bring in a mere Rs 3.8 crore, marking its lowest collection yet, as reported by industry tracker Sacnilk.
The overall domestic box office figure now stands at Rs 258.67 crore, a substantial amount, but the film is still far from surpassing the benchmark set by Hrithik Roshan's 'War' at Rs 317.91 crore.
The global collection of Tiger 3 currently rests at Rs 458.67 crore, showcasing its impact on the international stage. As Tiger 3 battles its way to cross the monumental Rs 300 crore mark in India, it faces impending competition from Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' next week. The clash promises to be an intense one, adding more challenges for Salman Khan and the 'Tiger 3' team.
The film, helmed by Maneesh Sharma, is the fifth instalment in YRF's spy franchise, following the successful ventures of 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger
