

Samsung to launch new XR smart glasses this year, competing with Meta's Ray-Ban
These glasses are expected to rival Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses, which enable users to interact with their environment through AI. Leaks have previously indicated that Samsung's XR glasses could weigh around 50 grams, feature multiple cameras, and support capabilities such as payments, gestures, and facial recognition.
The smart glasses are likely to be powered by a Qualcomm chipset, with an NXP chip serving as an auxiliary processing unit. They could also include a 12-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX681 CMOS image sensor. Additionally, according to a report from SamMobile, the glasses may come with a 155mAh battery and incorporate Google's Gemini AI model to enhance the user experience with AI-driven features.
