Samsung’s next major Unpacked event is all but confirmed for July 10. At the event, which will tentatively be hosted in Paris, Samsung is widely expected to take the wraps off the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, few smartwatches and earphones possibly, while also announcing the full details of its maiden Galaxy Ring.
Rumours of a July 10 Unpacked have been going around for a while now. As we inch closer, it’s becoming more and more plausible. Samsung is yet to formally announce the date, but it should be any day now.
Noted tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) posted on X “Samsung’s next Unpacked event is likely to be held on July 10 at 10 PM KST.” Blass hinted that this information might be based on the details provided on Samsung’s Korean website. The post was accompanied by a banner for the countdown, the type that Samsung usually runs before these events.
The image is believed to include a pre-register link, presumably for signing up for updates in advance. It looks like the expected time for the launch is 10am in Samsung’s home country of South Korea – or 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST / 11pm AEST for the rest of the world.
The leaked picture also showed the familiar Galaxy AI stars. The banner also showed an image of the Eiffel Tower, perhaps hinting at where the event will be held.
However, the confirmation bit came after the post was inadvertently taken down. Blass shared the DMCA takedown notice in another post on X saying “confirmation”, hinting that Samsung might have a role in this. Blasé has had similar run ins with Samsung before. Even when he leaked photos of last year’s Fold and Flip HR had received the same takedown notice. DMCA generally allows to unauthorised use of copyright images.
