Olympics in Paris this year is closer like never before, and fans are already beginning to assemble in the city to witness the biggest sporting event on Earth, something that happens after an interval of four years, as goes the custom. Paris Olympics will see some of the toughest sportsmen battling it out on the field, representing their respective countries to bring laurels and accolades. However, there is an exiting opportunity to add some more medals to their bucket by winning a new event introduced by the International Olympic Committee, that is competitive dancing.

Breakdancing, has been announced as one of the three new kind of events that will be seen in the upcoming Olympics, other than sport climbing and surfing. However, these two sports have already been featured in the previous edition of the Olympics, and breakdancing can be deemed as the brand-new arrival at the Paris Games.

Although breakdance has been largely considered an art form, it has now been pondered and decided that it can be implemented as a sports form as well. Meanwhile the United States breakdance team look like hot favorites for this event as Victor Montalvo, who won the 2023 World Championships, will now be eyeing the Olympics title. Meanwhile, Sunny Choi, another US team member, also qualified for the Paris Games, by securing a victory at the Pan American Games, held last year.
