Elon Musk expressed confidence that Microsoft chief executive officer (CEO) Satya Nadella “definitely has the money” to invest in the $500 billion artificial intelligence (AI) project by the Donald Trump administration. This comes a day after Musk said SoftBank and OpenAI, who committed to deploying $100 billion in the project right away, “don’t have any money”.

In an interview with CNBC, Nadella commented on the tech titans’ social media banter: “All I know is: I am good for my $80 billion.”
Reposting a video of the interview, Musk wrote, “On the other hand, Satya definitely does have the money.”
Nadella responded to his comment on X, saying, “And all this money is not about hyping AI, but is about building useful things for the real world!”
