«We write on behalf of Mr. Combs to request that the Court direct the MDC to provide Mr. Combs with the laptop prepared for him by the government, and allow him to use that laptop on his unit, consistent with the way other inmates on his unit are permitted to use their laptops,» Sean 'Diddy' Combs' lawyer wrote the letter to the US District Judge.
Combs' lawyer said that his client needs the laptop to access the documents. The lawyer also claimed that the government allowed a laptop for the accused rapper but MDC authority is yet to provide the device to the musician.
55-year-old Combs' trial will commence on May 5.
Sean «Diddy» Combs will remain in jail ahead of his May 5, 2025 trial on sex-trafficking charges after a U.S. judge denied his in November to be released on $50-million bail from the Brooklyn jail where the music mogul has been held for 10 weeks.
