In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 109.65 points up at 19545.75.
On the BSE, National Perox, ETT Ltd, IndiaNivesh Ltd, Spectra Ind and Bansisons Tea hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Bharat Bhushan, D & H India, SoftTech Engineers, Lime Chemicals and Piccadily Agro touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
