In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 41.3 points up at 24811.5.
On the BSE, Suraj Industries(PP), Kratos Energy, Saraswati Saree Depo, Sharat Industries Ltd. and J. Taparia Proj hit their fresh 52-week lows, while NEL Holdings, Victoria Mills, Jet Freight Logistic, Lypsa Gems and TVS Electronics touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
