Second sexual assault civil claim filed against Crispin Odey
The Odey Asset Management founder has reportedly denied the allegations in all cases but one, where he admitted to sexual misconduct against a former female employee in 2005, stating that, at the time of the incident, he was under strong medication following a root canal procedure.
The lawsuit is against Odey himself and Odey Asset Management, as, of the 20 women that have come forward, 13 were former Odey AM employees.
The High Court has granted anonymity to the two women, which are represented by Jill Greenfield, partner at law firm Fieldfisher, who has previously represented victims of Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein.

Both Odey and Odey AM have been notified of the lawsuit, through which the two women are seeking damages for personal injury and psychiatric harm following the alleged misconduct.
Investment Week understands more claims are underway against Crispin Odey, with the women also seeking anonymity from the court.
In 2021, Odey was found not guilty of a single charge of indecent assault.
