In the Nifty index, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 4.97 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.90 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.57 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.38 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
