The NSE Nifty index traded 94.21 points up at 25012.65, while BSE Sensex was up 249.11 points at 81772.27 as of 09:58AM(IST)on September 12.
In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.90 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.64 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.47 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) and Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 1.33 per cent) were among the top gainers.
