The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(up 5.90%), NMDC Ltd.(up 4.14%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 2.05%), MOIL Ltd.(up 2.03%), KIOCL Ltd.(up 1.91%), 20 Microns Ltd.(up 1.05%) and Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(up 0.68%) stood among the top gainers.
Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(down 2.73%), Oriental Trimex Ltd.(down 2.04%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(down 1.44%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(down 1.41%), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.16%), Pokarna Ltd.(down 0.39%) and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(down 0.05%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 368.11 points down at 25810.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 1272.07 points at 84299.78.
JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.85%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.77%), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.45%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.22%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.21%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.11%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 0.73%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.56%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 0.45%) and Titan Company Ltd.(up 0.19%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
