Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd.(up 5.31%), Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd.(up 4.88%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd.(up 4.41%), Avadh Sugar & Energy Ltd.(up 3.10%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(up 2.44%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Ltd.(up 1.69%), Mawana Sugars Ltd.(up 1.62%), Simbhaoli Sugars Ltd.(up 1.48%), KM Sugar Mills Ltd.(up 1.44%) and Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd.(up 1.43%) stood among the top gainers.

Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Ltd.(down 1.87%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.44%), KCP Sugar & Industries Corporation Ltd.(down 1.24%) and Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd.(down 1.12%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 13.95 points down at 25796.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 33.49 points at 84266.29.
Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.06%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.29%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.71%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.61%), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.54%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.38%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.34%), State Bank of India(up 1.15%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.14%) and Wipro Ltd.(up 0.98%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
