Sakthi Sugars Ltd.(down 2.90%), Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd.(down 1.63%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Ltd.(down 1.61%), Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd.(down 1.47%), Rana Sugars Ltd.(down 1.41%), KM Sugar Mills Ltd.(down 0.98%), Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Ltd.(down 0.96%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd.(down 0.94%), Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd.(down 0.94%) and Avadh Sugar & Energy Ltd.(down 0.90%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 120.5 points down at 24850.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 268.8 points at 81232.56 at around 10:49AM.
Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.25%), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.08%), State Bank of India(up 0.97%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.93%), Wipro Ltd.(up 0.8%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 0.63%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.59%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 0.55%), Cipla Ltd.(up 0.41%) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 0.35%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
