Reliance Power Ltd.(up 4.99%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(up 3.96%), Adani Power Ltd.(up 2.90%), NHPC Ltd.(up 2.40%), Karma Energy Ltd.(up 1.06%), NTPC Ltd.(up 0.89%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.72%), Inox Wind Ltd.(up 0.55%), PTC India Ltd.(up 0.47%) and Suzlon Energy Ltd.(up 0.44%) stood among the top gainers.
Ravindra Energy Ltd.(down 5.01%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(down 5.00%), Inox Wind Energy Ltd.(down 4.81%), India Power Corporation Ltd.(down 3.14%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(down 3.05%), Orient Green Power Company Ltd.(down 3.00%), GE Power India Ltd.(down 2.94%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(down 2.61%), GE T&D India Ltd.(down 2.48%) and JSW Energy Ltd.(down 2.44%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 36.1 points down at 24399.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 16.82 points at 80065.16.
UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 2.71%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 1.49%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.29%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.28%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.18%), State Bank of India(up 1.09%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.05%), NTPC Ltd.(up 0.89%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 0.8%) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.72%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
