The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 186.66 points down at 24212.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 452.97 points at 79612.19 at around 10:38AM.
ITC Ltd.(up 4.48%), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.28%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.2%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.19%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.11%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 0.98%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 0.97%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.78%), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.74%) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.72%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
