Euro India Fresh Foods Ltd.(up 20.00%), Bikaji Foods International Ltd.(up 6.11%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd.(up 3.61%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.98%), Gillette India Ltd.(up 1.23%), Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Ltd.(up 0.96%), Vadilal Industries Ltd.(up 0.82%), Prataap Snacks Ltd.(up 0.61%), Marico Ltd.(up 0.48%) and Hindustan Foods Ltd.(up 0.33%) stood among the top gainers.
LT Foods Ltd.(down 4.53%), ADF Foods Ltd.(down 2.83%), Umang Dairies Ltd.(down 2.56%), Nakoda Group Of Industries Ltd.(down 2.32%), Patanjali Foods Ltd.(down 2.28%), Dangee Dums Ltd.(down 2.17%), Honasa Consumer Ltd.(down 2.00%), Godrej Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.87%), Parag Milk Foods Ltd.(down 1.61%) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.59%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 41.0 points down at 25377.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 131.43 points at 82948.23.
Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 4.39%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 3.61%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.14%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.98%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.6%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.56%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.29%), State Bank of India(up 1.26%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 0.96%) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 0.95%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
