Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.(up 6.33%), National Fertilizers Ltd.(up 5.31%), The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd.(up 3.65%), Madras Fertilizers Ltd.(up 3.04%), Krishana Phoschem Ltd.(up 2.83%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 2.77%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.(up 1.87%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 1.77%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(up 1.39%) and Aries Agro Ltd.(up 1.37%) stood among the top gainers.
Sikko Industries Ltd.(down 1.48%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 1.40%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation Ltd.(down 0.60%), Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(down 0.53%), Agro Phos India Ltd.(down 0.19%) and Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd.(down 0.16%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 41.0 points down at 25377.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 131.43 points at 82948.23.
Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 4.39%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 3.61%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.14%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.98%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.6%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.56%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.29%), State Bank of India(up 1.26%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 0.96%) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 0.95%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
