The NSE Nifty index traded 62.6 points up at 26066.75, while BSE Sensex was up 216.48 points at 85386.35 as of 10:29AM(IST)on September 26.
In the Nifty index, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.96 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.62 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.40 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.27 per cent) were among the top gainers.
